ABOUT me

MARKETING EXEC turned BIBLE TEACHER

I’m an unlikely Bible teacher who spent 15 years making my own way in the marketing world, from management level to hitting the top by owning my own agency. During the hustle of running large marketing campaigns while raising my little kids, I felt an undeniable tug to shift my communication strategy to focus on a different message. Jesus was calling me to lay down all that I had accomplished, pick up a Bible, and start spreading his message to others around my dining room table. And this was just the beginning.

I would spend the next six years studying the Word of God with every study Bible footnote, New Testament professor YouTube video, books (so many books!), and talks with pastors. I completed classes on preaching and joined a ministry cohort to sharpen my skills. And I began teaching anyone in any living room I was invited into.

Through all of it, I’ve held a deep passion for one thing - to help women better know themselves by first knowing the God who created them. One thing is clear -  our culture is dying to tell us who we are, what we are supposed to look like, and how we are expected to live.

I bought all these lies for a long time too. But it’s time for us to wake up to the authentic and fulfilling life that only Jesus can provide us. I want to help light up that path for you too.

In 2017, God woke me up to a better way. His way to the good life.

I had hit a wall from the hard lessons of a self-sufficient, striving life - one that lead to exhaustion and disappointment. I’ve gone from white-knuckling my way through seasons, trying to control my way to the good life only to be met by God’s grace when none of it worked. I’ve learned obedience is the only way to freedom.

And I’ll never go back.

A few FUN FACTS

I’m an Alabama girl who can’t get enough of the West coast or any mountain range. I grew up covered in sand from our white beaches on the Gulf Coast but die to be in the snow and hiking through mountains. I’ll choose high elevation any day of the week.

After a decade of raising babies, this year all of my kids will be at the same school, and I will not know what to do with my hands at first. Coffee date anyone?

I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I’ve seen the entire season of “LOST” twice! That’s a lot of episodes. I guess I love the story of eyes being opened to a new reality and lives being changed because of it. Just so good.
